Khama leads troops to 'Old Naledi'

President Ian Khama will be taking his road show to Gaborone South, with a 'star rally' at Old Naledi tomorrow in anticipation of the Botswana Democratic Party council the following day.

The council should have been held in March but it was postponed on account of reports of a possible split, which later gave birth to the Botswana Movement for Democracy. Khama is on an anti-crusade against the new BMD having addressed a similar meeting in Francistown. 

At the  Francistown rally, Khama challenged all the elected representatives who were leaving the party to resign their seats describing them as 'power hungry'.
