Khama Fires Salvo At Opposition

President Ian Khama dedicated almost an hour to firing salvos at the opposition at the 54th Botswana Democratic Party(BDP) national council held at the Maharaj conference centre on Friday.

“They celebrate when we  have electricity cuts, they celebrate  when there is no water, they celebrate when our dams run dry and when  we have  a drought.”

Khama tore into the opposition block saying they have never shown any contribution to nation building.  Instead of providing alternative policies, Khama lashed out that the opposition here exists only to make  false claims and childish utterances.
