Kgosi Linchwe is no more

Bakgatla Paramount Chief and the President of the Customary Court of Appeal, Kgosi Linchwe II has died. He died in the early hours of Tuesday morning in South Africa where he had gone for brain surgery last month, after a short illness.He was born in May 2 1935, thus making him 72 years at the time of his death.

The family spokesperson and Bakgatla Regent Kgosi Mothibe Linchwe informed Bakgatla at the Mochudi main Kgotla yesterday about the chief's passing away. 

The family delegation lead by Mothibe went to South Africa on Friday to check on him and from reports his condition had not improved.
