Kgoroba calls on Masisi to intervene in land impasse

“Our main problem in Mogoditshane is our land board. It is under staffed and I wrote to the President two months ago calling on him to employ more people or close it temporarily to have the employees deal with the backlog. I am yet to get a response,” he said.
Still on land issues, Kgoroba said he was proud to have fought the government to give land to children of people who were moved to make way for residences in Ledumadumane. He said even though people were compensated, it was not enough and he spoke to the then president Ian Khama to assist. He also announced that the land board would give certificates to residents of Goo-Monang.
