PALAPYE: In the adverse situation of inflated classrooms due to high numbers of pupils, the Tswapong region top government primary school, Kediretswe that performed extremely well in the past Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE), aims to raise the results bar even higher in the next examination sitting.

The school headmaster, Gagoitsewe Malete revealed their intent at the school’s victory celebrations held at the school recently. Kediretswe attained a 98% ABC pass in the 2017 PSLE results from 69.7% ABC in 2016, making a 28.3% improvement.

The school had 96 pupils sitting for the PSLE last year, 45 got A’s, 34 got B’s, 17 scored a C and two D’s. Each class had 32 pupils. Now, as is it has become a norm in many schools, the numbers have gone high. An average number of pupils in class at the school is 45.
