Kapinga confirms talks with BCP

FRANCISTOWN: Former deputy commissioner of police and diplomat Kenny Kapinga has confirmed that he has entered into talks with the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) with a view of joining the party.

Since he quit the public service a fortnight ago Kapinga’s political affiliation has been a subject of intense speculation.

“Yes I am in talks with the BCP. I cannot discuss the status of the talks at the moment. An announcement on the outcomes of the talks will be made soon,” Kapinga said in an interview with this publication yesterday.
