It is said the Botswana Defence Force (BDF) corporals, Dzikamani Mothobi, Goitsemang Sechele, Ronny Matako and Boitshoko Maifala are likely to regain their freedom after the state decided not to oppose their bail application. The suspects could be free before noon today if their application succeeds. The four men were brought before Magistrate Lot Moroka last Friday. The magistrate ordered that they be put in custody to await the hearing of the case at the High Court in the near future. It is alleged that on or about May 13, 2009, the four at or near Moonland Shopping Complex, in Gaborone, acting together and in concert murdered Kalafatis.
