An Indian gang smashed cars and left a neighbour's house in Block Three, Gaborone in disrepair after pelting it with bricks and breaking all the windows with baseball bats, in the wee hours of Sunday.

Trouble started when the Indians returned home at night and found a car parked in front of their gate. The owner of the car was at a party in the neighbouring Plot 28319. One of the Indians, Sundy Vecatasumy told The Monitor that when they asked for the car to be removed, the people at the party responded with nasty language and a fight broke out. He said they called reinforcements and went to the neighbour's house and caused havoc. "In anger you can do anything, they got us boiling (with anger)," he said.

Vecatasumy, who was wearing a Jack Daniel's branded t-shirt and had tattoos on his arm, claimed two of his mates were injured in the melee and had to be taken to hospital. He claimed that the neighbours threw bottles into his compound and attempted to climb into his high walled house which has an electric fence and bull dogs.
