Indebted Modenga in court again

FRANCISTOWN: Francistown City deputy mayor, Lechedzani Modenga has been dragged before the small claims court for non-payment of P3,500 for goats he took from Tebalo Mpona last year August.

Tebalo told the court recently that despite repeated demands, the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) councillor for Moselewapula has not honoured his part of the contract to pay the debt.

Tebalo has now petitioned the magistrate court seeking orders to compel Modenga to pay the money for four goats plus costs.
