IDM Supports IHS Research Conference

The theme for this year’s conference was ‘Healthcare Training and Education: Key to Producing Innovative Workforce’. The minister said her ministry encourages novel employees who can transform service delivery in the health sector and beyond.
‘Delivery is one of the highest priorities of my ministry and that of government; in fact it is part of His Excellency’s roadmap’, she stated. The minister informed delegates that the importance of research in academic institutions cannot be over emphasised as research has a very high potential of improving delivery of healthcare services through evidence based practice.
It underscores the indispensable role women play in our society, particularly in building strong households and nurturing families.
