'I don't manipulate BDP'

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) chairman Samson Guma has rubbished allegations that his ambition to become the next vice president has forced him to manipulate voters' rolls and production of membership cards.

These reports surfaced last week following the two month's suspension from the party of a Gaborone West South parliamentary candidate Chris Nthuba, an alleged ally of Guma.

President Ian Khama suspended Nthuba on allegations of electoral fraud following the revelations by a BDP officer who was reportedly caught in the act of manipulating party data last week.
