I am not afraid-Mothibamele

The face off between new kid on the block Itumeleng Moipisi and 'oldie' Lesedi Mothibamele, in the Kgalagadi North constituency is a battle to watch. With just weeks to go for the Botswana Democratic Party primary elections south of Dibete, SHARON MATHALA sat down with the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Kgalagadi.


Mothibamele who was a member of parliament for 30 years (1974 to 2004) until he was deposed in the last 2009 elections, is not too anxious of what November 23rd, the date for the primary elections, has in store for him. He told Mmegi that he does not have sleepless nights, as whoever wins the BDP primaries to represent Kgalagadi North will carry the party’s hopes of winning the national elections with pride and dignity.
