Next month will mark a year since the brutal murder of Veronica Ramhago, whose body was found lifeless in her bedroom in Ramotswa next to her crying 18-month-old child.

The suspects in the matter have been identified as Fanes Manyewe, a Zimbabwean national, and Adriano Caetano, a Mozambican national, who remain at large nearly 11 months after the incident.

On the night of June 5, 2025, the suspects allegedly fled with the victim’s vehicle, which was later recovered by police. Despite investigations that have dragged on for almost a year, police have yet to make a breakthrough in locating and arresting the suspects.
