Batsile claimed Tetsa powder is made from barks of different trees found in the Palapye area. “Tetsa is yet another miracle healing from Palapye.  That place has medicinal wonders.”  He explained that the mixture was originally discovered by his step-father, Thato Makuku in Palapye who had a knack for experimenting indigenous herbs. Batsile said:” I learnt how to collect, dry and mix the powder.” He further explained that upon realising the powder has commercial potential, he branded it ‘Tetsa.com’ and started selling it. He said it was in 1998  while he was still employed in the police service when he sarted selling it. After retiring last year, an idea came to him to begin packaging and pushing the powder on a larger scale and said the demand is ever increasing. “My powder is well sought after all over the country.
