Homeless federation wants government support

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Homeless and Poor People’s Federation has pleaded for financial support from government to carryout its intended projects.

In an interview with Mmegi, the federation’s coordinator Goitsemang Maano said their federation is currently faced with financial constraints to execute its projects to empower its members. “We plead with the government to fund us with at least P2.5 million so that we can implement our projects.

We want Batswana to stop dependence on government. We can only win this when we have citizen empowering projects,” said Maano.
