Highway 'Death Trap' At Kumakwane

While for some people a road is always a welcome development, for the residents of Kumakwane, the highway has been a source of misery. 

The highway has claimed several lives as residents of Kumakwane have been hit by vehicles while crossing the busy road, which is part of the Trans-Kalahari Highway.
You could just see that the road is a danger zone as vehicles sped by while residents ran for their lives. A petrol tanker driving at high speed is hooting without reducing speed. 
A few years ago, a Kumakwane man died in his home after a truck which was on the highway went through his house. The driver of the vehicle lost control.
