High turnout of voters at polling stations

Mmegi reporters from various areas around the country report of high turnout of voters at many polling stations this morning.

The polling stations opened at 6:30am and are expected to close at 7pm. Some voters said they arrived at the polling stations as early as 2am while some in Zwenshambe at Tati West said they spent the night on the queue.

The voting has been reported to be smooth albeit slow in many polling stations around the country. There have been isolated cases of voters missing on the voters roll.
