Harrowing murder: 'Boyfriend slits girlfriend's throat'

FRANCISTOWN: A 36-year-old man from Kalakamati village appeared before the Francistown Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday to face one count of murder.

The state alleges that Oketsang Mathumo, an assistant motor mechanic murdered Florah Chabaesele, 34, at his place of residence in Somerset Extension on September 8, 2019.

The police say that Mathumo stabbed Chabaesele with a sharp object suspected to be a knife on the throat following a love misunderstanding.
