Guma confident of smooth primaries

Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) chairman Samson Guma is upbeat that his party's primary elections scheduled for this weekend will be a hassle-free exercise.

Guma says that the leadership of the ruling party has visited all 57 constituencies to workshop and pre-counsel all council and parliamentary candidates.

He nevertheless admitted that it is possible that some may appeal the results of the polls citing procedural irregularities.
