Girls out-perform boys again in PSLE

The just released 2013 Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE) results show that girls have outperformed boys across all subjects at A to C again.

This pattern is consistent, as it was the case with 2011 and 2012 results. Regionally, South East district has the highest proportion of Grade A , 20.3 percent while North West has the least Grade A , six point six percent. However, in overall North East at 82.6 percent and South East with 81.9 percent performed significantly higher than other districts.

According to the Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) summary report of the results, Gantsi district was the least performing at 42.9 percent though it recorded a slight improvement from the previous year.
