GetBucks Inject P100,000 Into Lapologang's PSLE Preparations

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Excelling Lapologang Primary School was at the end of another windfall of study materials worth over P100,000 from their fostering partners, GetBucks.

The donation was intended to assist the school to intensify preparations for the impending Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE). Standard Seven pupils across the country will be sitting for the exams next month. Lapologang made the top five best government primary schools with a 95% pass rate from last year’s PSLE results.

GetBucks has adopted the school for a period of three years. In the past winter, the microlender donated winter warmers worth P240,000 to the school. Over the weekend the company’s principal, Martin DeKock was at the school to encourage the candidates and donated textbooks and teaching aids ahead of the examinations. DeKock said when they adopted the school, their greatest hope was to create an enabling environment for the prosperity of the students. He said GetBucks subscribe to its parent company’s MyBucks Foundation that was born from a belief that everyone deserves to live their best lives and as thus, thrives on creating opportunities to enabling communities and investing in lifelong opportunities that will make a difference.
