FRANCISTOWN: Former Francistown mayor Ephraim Maiketso will today attempt to convince the High Court to have his ouster case heard out of time.

The High Court on September 2 this year, set today as the date in which Maiketso, the Francistown City Council (FCC) and current Mayor James Kgalajwe, will present their arguments on the case before Justice Zibani Makhwade.Maiketso wants his reinstatement case to be heard out of time because he believes it has high prospects of success. The FCC and Kgalajwe are cited as the first and second respondents respectively in the case.  Maiketso took the city council to court after they did not reinstate him because he sat on his rights for too long.

Today he will seek leave from court to have his reinstatement case heard out of time because he challenged his ouster late.
