FSG mortuary goes under the hammer

There was pandemonium at the FSG mortuary in Gaborone Thursday afternoon as the deputy sheriff started attaching the hearse and luxury vehicles including two Mercedes Benz cars, a Hummer, Toyota condor, Hilux and a Range Rover.

A former FSG executive, Ackson Mbewe's appointed deputy sheriff attached his former employer's property in a bid to secure over P1 million owed to him following a successful lawsuit against the company for unfair dismissal. He had been employed as GM for its assurance division in Lusaka in 2009.

It has been three months since Justice Mercy Garekwe ordered that  Mbewe who was fired along with his wife, be paid a total of P730 407 with  10 percent  interest from the day of judgement.
