The Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF) returns to the courtroom today (Tuesday), as internal strife once again spills into the legal arena. Six members are taking the party to the Gaborone High Court, challenging decisions made ahead of the national conference – a gathering that almost failed to take place.

The conference, originally scheduled for Friday, was pushed to Saturday due to the pending case.

The matter was first set for a hearing last Friday but was postponed to Tuesday after the applicants told the court they had only been served with the party’s replying papers that same morning.
