Four detained in Jwaneng murder

Police have arrested four suspects in the murder of the 24-year-old woman of Sesung village whose naked body was recently discovered in a bushy area of Unit 2 location in Jwaneng.

Investigators handling the case recently arrested Boemo Baitsi 24, Tshepo Molwalefi 29, Pako Segogwane 30 and Thuto Sungwasungwane 24. The four have since appeared before Jwaneng Magistrate Court.

“Presently the four are facing a single count of murder, but investigations into the matter are still ongoing hence not ruling out the possibility of other charges to be revealed dependent on the outcome of our ongoing investigations,” said the deputy public relations officer of the Botswana Police Service (BPS), senior superintendent Near Bagali in an interview with Mmegi.
