Former Labour Party MP trains BCP leadership

The Botswana Congress Party (BCP), will be conducting a series of workshops under the Party School to equip the leadership and activists with political organisation and mobilisation skills. United Kingdom (UK) former Labour Party Member of Parliament (MP) Gemma Doyle would be among the trainers sponsored by Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD).

According to the BCP executive secretary, Akanyang Magama, the workshops would kick-off with a leadership workshop scheduled for today at Mmokolodi.

“Prior to being elected MP, Doyle worked for the political office of the parliamentary Labour Party facilitating best practice and engagement between backbench MPs, government and the party apparatus, as well as training MP staff during the last Labour Party government.
