FNB responds to The Monitor article

After reading The Monitor's last week edition front-page article about struggles faced by disabled 27-year-old Diteko Mokgadi and her parents, First National Bank Botswana (FNBB) employees decided to help the family.

The disabled Mokgadi, who also cannot talk, was attacked by a stroke when she was three-years-old and since then has been struggling without a wheelchair.  The parents bemoaned how they were struggling to take care of her. 

Handing over the wheelchair and the grocery that included toiletry that will last the family for months, Boyboy Mogopodi, leading FNBB risk department employees from FNBB headquarters in Central Business District (CBD) said following one of the bank values ‘Be helpful’ they decided to raise funds and donate to disabled Mokgadi.
