Flood subsides but Martins Drift border remains closed

MARTINS DRIFT: Water flow at Martins Drift Border Post that was officially closed last Thursday due to flooding of the Limpopo River has finally subsided. Government employees who were evacuated are moving back to their houses.

Rannyena said that the South African authorities have suggested that inspection be carried out on the affected areas to ascertain that the road was safe to cross.
