Fires at Tsodilo, Gcwhihaba Caves

The fires that started burning last week have already torched Gcwhihaba hills, while another raging fire is threatening to torch Tsodilo, a world heritage site.
Assistant Commissioner in the Okavango area Lenamile Montsho told The Monitor over the telephone that the fires are fierce but there is shortage of manpower and resources such as transport to fight the veldt-fires.
