FCC councillors decry pothole-ridden roads

FRANCISTOWN: Councillors here have decried the poor state of the city’s roads, which they said need urgent maintenance. Heavy rains experienced early this year worsened the state of the roads in Francistown.

Commenting on the address by the mayor, councillor Gaone Majere said while the city is in the mood to celebrate 120 years, there is nothing to write home about the city’s internal roads, which are riddled with potholes.

The roads, Majere said, are costing car owners dearly who incur high costs of maintaining their cars, which are damaged by the potholes.
