FCC cllrs sworn in

FRANCISTOWN: Francistown District Commissioner (DC) Cordelia Mpaphe yesterday swore in 24 civic leaders who will be serving the Francistown District in the 2014-2019 term of office.

The DC told the councillors that the oath of allegiance that they were taking commits them to serve the city with diligence. She encouraged them to do their  best so that their efforts can pay dividends in developing the city.

‘I can only urge you to carry out your duties with the best of your abilities as a way of paying back to the people who voted you into office on October 24,” pleaded the DC.
