Farmworker allegedly shoots colleague to death

FRANCISTOWN: Letlhakane police are investigating an incident in which a 67-year-old farm worker allegedly shot his co-worker after a heated argument.

Confirming the incident, Letlhakane station commander Superintendent Michael Maphephu said the murder occurred recently at a farm near the Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR) about 170km from Letlhakane village.

According to reports by witnesses, the 67-year-old man took a gun belonging to their employer who was absent at the time and allegedly shot his colleague aged 30 years.
