Faith-base HIV response is five years late

The HIV strategy that was launched by Bishop Barnabas Lekganyane on Sunday, known as the Faith Based Organisations HIV/AIDS Response Strategy 2011-2016, is five years behind time. It was supposed to have been running and bearing results as early as 2009.

This is stated in the contents of the strategy document that put the timeline for the strategy as being 2009-2016.

The strategy is launched year-end, November 24, but will only be implemented early 2014, just two years before the target year of 2016.
