Ex-SRC president to sit for final exams

Former University of Botswana Student Representative Council (UBSRC) president, Khumoekae Richard will sit for his final year examinations after Justice Key Dingake granted him access to the university.

Richard and Tshepiso Noleen Bodilenyane filed an urgent application at the High Court in Lobatse challenging their recent expulsion and suspension respectively from UB.

Dingake temporarily set aside a decision by the management of the University of Botswana (UB) to deny the two former SRC members access to the campus, its facilities, lecture halls, study areas and any facility, which the applicants are entitled to by virtue of their status as students of the institution.
