Government spokesman Dr Jeff Ramsay yesterday confirmed that Garekwe is the new private secretary for former President Mogae but would not be drawn into saying whether the ex-convict has been cleared by the President or Permanent Secretary to the President Eric Molale, as it is a legal requirement, to assume any post in the public service.
