Eleven Students perish in road collision

FRANCISTOWN: Eleven students died instantly in a horrific road accident after the minibus they were travelling in collided with a truck between Makoba gate and Mashoro. Officer commanding for Number 8 district, senior superintendent, Chajane Baleseng confirmed the accident.

He said the accident happened yesterday morning between 0900 and 1000 hours. Though he said the details were still sketchy, he explained that two trucks and a minibus were involved in that accident.

"We heard that two trucks, one of them pulling a long trailer, collided and the minibus crashed into the wreckage of the accidents," said Baleseng.
