Elephant tusks land Zim man in trouble

FRANCISTOWN: A Zimbabwean man, Never Malinga has pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of two elephant tusks and entering Botswana through an ungazetted point.

When the facts of the matter were read to him, Malinga admitted that on February 3, the police and wildlife officers received information that he and other people were in possession of elephant tusks at Gerald Estates.

Malinga further admitted that the police and wildlife officers found him carrying a Nike bag coming towards them in the bush in the company of other people.
