FRANCISTOWN: Two Zimbabwean men have pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of elephant tusks. Admire Gwishiri and Gift Ndlovu were arrested in Tshesebe on February 10 following a tip-off.

Information passed to the Narcotics, Fauna and Investigations Unit in Francistown was to the effect that some male suspects driving a black BMW motor vehicle were reasonably suspected to be in unlawful possession of elephant tusks.

Police spotted the BMW car along the A1 highway between Francistown and Tshesebe.
