Education gets lion's share again

The Ministry of Education and Skills Development got the biggest share of the 2012-2013 national budget again.

The ministry got P7.7 billion of the total budget, which translates, into 27.3 percent. However, this represents a reduction from P8.75 billion from the 2011/2012 budget.

Finance and Development Planning Minister, Kenneth Matambo explained that this is due to a decrease in the number of students placed in foreign institutions.
