Duo appears for gang rape

FRANCISTOWN: Two men from Kgaphamadi location appeared at the magistrates’ court on Monday for allegedly raping a woman at Area G three years ago.

The state alleges that Desmond Mpontshane, 19, and Boikanyo Manyika, 21, had unlawful sex with the complainant after a drinking spree at Area S bars complex.

They pleaded not guilty to the charge and told the court that they will engage attorneys to represent them in the matter.
