DPSM, BOFEPUSU talks stalemate

Confidence building efforts between the Botswana Federation of Public Sector Unions (BOFEPUSU) and the Directorate of Public Service Management (DPSM) reached a stalemate last Friday when the two met to iron out their differences.

The parties met at the behest of the Chairman of the Public Sector Bargaining Council (PSBC), Modiri Mbaakanyi, who wanted them to discuss the status of the PSBC, which has been unilaterally suspended by government.

A few weeks ago, BOFEPUSU filed an urgent application before Justice Tshepo Motswagole of the Lobatse High Court to review the suspension of PSBC by government.
