Dikgosi report their plight to British High Commissioner

SEROWE: Dikgosi are unhappy at how things have turned out after Botswana attained her Independence in 1966, which has resulted in the loss of most of their powers.

This was revealed during the British High Commissioner’s visit to the Bangwato tribal leadership in Serowe on Monday.

When narrating the historical and modern links between Botswana and the United Kingdom to Commissioner Katy Ramsome, Dikgosi outlined how they lost their powers after independence.
