Decapitation Murder Suspect Also Face Drug Charges

Simon Badisa Kgowe 38, the suspect in the decapitation murder that has been making headlines seems to be prone to trouble after appearing before Broadhurst Magistrates’ Court facing drug charges.

Court documents state that on the first count, Kgowe, facing unlawful possession of cannabis was on or about May 21, 2016 found with the habit forming drug weighing 11.3 grams at Block 3 location in Gaborone.

On count two, he is facing an offence of unlawful possession of methcathinone, after he was found in possession of the habit-forming drug weighing 4.3038grams. Kgowe who had been granted bail in this matter, appeared before Magistrate Gaseitsewe Tonoki on Friday for judgement on the unlawful possession of drugs charges. The judgement was postponed to tomorrow (Tuesday) due to non-availability of court interpreters.
