Debswana sponsored walk on tomorrow

FRANCISTOWN: Debswana Orapa and Letlhakane Mines will tomorrow hold a sponsored walk, aimed at raising funds to support the needs of the less-privileged communities in the Boteti Sub-District.

Briefing Mmegi about the sponsored walk, Debswana public and corporate affairs manager, Kesego Kebelaele, said the walk will begin at the Damtshaa Mine and end at Orapa township.

She, however, indicated that it is difficult to know how much the walk would raise as they are hopeful that as many stakeholders as possible would embrace the activity, noting that it is a noble cause aimed at making a long-lasting contribution to the development of fellow Batswana who are less-privileged.
