Former Member of Parliament for Gantsi South, Christian De Graaff, is receiving medical treatment at Princess Marina Hospital after reportedly attempting to take his own life early Saturday morning. The incident was confirmed by Gantsi Police Station commander, Superintendent Dennis Zilawe.

He explained that said they received a report around 1am from individuals residing next to the ex-minister’s farm who allegedly heard a gunshot coming from his yard.

“Police rushed to the scene and, upon arrival, found blood stains in the sitting room.
