Date set for 21st Century battle

Trial dates have been set for the highly explosive case involving Botswana's 'who 's who' including former president Festus Mogae, Chief Justice Julian Nganunu, permanent secretaries and diplomats and prominent businessmen, most of whom belong to the old boys' club, warring over money and shares.

High Court Judge, Justice David Newman has ordered that the case be tried for 10 consecutive days from June 13-24 next year.

Justice Newman further ordered that counsels for both parties shall meet in Johannesburg on March 13 to finalise all outstanding issues, and shall file a proposed final pre-trial order no later than April 15.
