DA's Maimane to grace UDC congress

The leader of one of South Africa's opposition parties, Democratic Alliance (DA) Mmusi Maimane will be one of the guests at the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) events this week.

The UDC congress will start on Friday and its launch will be on Saturday at Diphetogo grounds in Gaborone West constituency. One of the UDC affiliates, Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) and DA are fraternal friends. 

The congress is expected to have 2,800 delegates if each party could bring 570 delegates. Each delegate is expected to pay P150 or else they will not be part of the congress.
