Court to rule in land board forgery

FRANCISTOWN: Maun magistrate Clifford Foroma will tomorrow deliver a ruling in a case where employees of Tawana Land Board are facing two counts of forgery and uttering by false pretences.

It is alleged that Castro Kemohilwe Molefhe, 43, and Stephen Joseph Legodi, 42, acting jointly and in concert, on the date not known to the prosecution, forged a Tawana Land Board Certificate of Customary Land Grant in Maun purporting it to be a certificate issued to Legodi by the land board.

Molefhe works as a Tawana land board field assistant while Legodi works as an accountant.
