In a move that shocked many legal practitioners and even the presiding judge when the appellant initially appeared in court, the state prosecutor in the case told the court that she was not furnished with any reasons whatsoever when the decision to terminate Mompe’s employment contract was taken in 2015.

Yesterday, Mompe who was represented by Othusitse Gabolwelwe said he pays subscriptions to Mosele Legal Services who have since informed him that they would look for another attorney to represent him.
