Botswana is expected to experience cold weather temperatures from tomorrow until Friday (July 9–14).
This is according to a press statement released by the Department of Meteorological Services.
“Cold dry air from the Atlantic Ocean will flow into the country starting from July 9, 2023, resulting in a cold spell over most parts of the country,” reads the statement.
The cold spell, according to the Department of Meteorological Services, will effect from Sunday to Friday, “with expected maximum temperatures of about 11º Celsius experienced over the southern parts of the country and 21º Celsius over the north while minimum temperatures will range from minus two degrees to seven degrees (-2º–7º) Celsius".
The statement continues: “A slight improvement in both maximum and minimum temperatures is expected from Saturday, July 15, 2023."
